Stewardship code
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Conduct of Business Rule 2.2.3 requires regulated firms managing investments for professional clients to disclose on its website the nature of its commitment to the Financial Reporting Council’s Stewardship Code (the Code).
The Code sets out good practice on engagement with investee companies in which professional clients have invested. Fiske plc must disclose the nature of its commitment to the code or its alternative approach.
Under our business model Fiske plc believes it to be inappropriate to engage directly with companies or to vote on resolutions at shareholder meetings. Furthermore, we are of the opinion that our professional clients do not expect us to engage directly with companies.
